Archived Biography: Aruni Jayakody is a Research Assistant at the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research. Aruni holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University (2013). Aruni obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Queensland (2008). She was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in 2009.  Prior to joining HPCR, in 2010 Aruni worked on constitutional reform and freedom of expression issues as a researcher at the Legal and Constitutional Unit of the Centre for Policy Alternatives, a think tank in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
