Rob manages the Monitoring, Reporting, and Fact-finding (MRF) project, a research and policy initiative geared toward developing a community of practice for practiitoners engaged in gathering data on potential violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law in armed conflicts and internal disturbances.  He also contributes to the HPCR blog, provides support to the Advanced Training Program on Humanitarian Action (ATHA) project, and is a member of the production team for HPCR's Live Web Seminar series.

Rob's writing about international relations has been published by Foreign Policy in Focus, the Foreign Policy Association, the Euro-Atlantic Center, The Mantle, NYU's Journal of Political Inquiry, and Great Power Politics.

Rob holds an MA in Politics from New York University and a BA in Drama from Vassar College.  He is also an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced around the globe.
