Rob Grace
Rob focuses on the Monitoring, Reporting, and Fact-finding (MRF) Project, which analyzes MRF bodies' efforts to investigate alleged violations of international law during armed conflicts. He also contributes to HPCR's "IHL in Action" blog. His research interests include international security, foreign policy, and the politics of international law.
Rob holds an MA in International Relations from New York University, where he edited for the school's Journal of Political Inquiry. His Master's thesis examined the political costs of violating international law. His writing about international law and foreign policy has been published by Foreign Policy in Focus, the Foreign Policy Association, the Euro-Atlantic Center, The Mantle, NYU's Journal of Political Inquiry, and Great Power Politics. He holds a BA in Drama from Vassar College, and is an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced around the globe. Productions include pieces about the 2002 Moscow Theater Hostage Crisis, the American Revolution, Lucrezia Borgia, and an upcoming project about the Congress of Vienna.
